Family-Friendly, But Not Just For Families

Romance is part of the Grand plan at Sirenis

Whether you’re young or young at heart, Sirenis Resorts wants people to know there’s a place for all ages at its resorts.

“The biggest misconception among agents about our resorts is that we are exclusively for families,” said Marcella Nunez, business development manager for Sirenis Hotels. “We are extremely family-friendly, but not just for families. We have swim-up bars, discos, even a casino at our Punta Cana complex. Singles, couples and honeymooners will all find a wonderful experience at our resorts.”

Certainly a great options for families, Sirenis resorts offer a wide array of activities and amenities that parents and kids love. There’s the huge waterpark at the newly renovated Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Casino & Aquagames and the Dolphin Discovery park at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya. There are guestrooms that can accommodate a family of five at both the Riviera Maya resort and its sister property, Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach Hotel & Spa, among many other family and multi-generational features. But Grand Sirenis also offers lots of activities and options to keep adult guests happy and having fun on their own.

This starts with the locations themselves. Whether clients are seeking an escape with friends or a romantic getaway for two, Sirenis properties will deliver. The pristine beaches, refreshing pools, spacious guest rooms and personalized service that comes with a stay at any Grand Sirenis resort provides the makings of a fun-filled vacation.

Spa Grand Sirenis

Spa Grand Sirenis

At the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya and Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach Hotel & Spa, when a break from the beach is required, the on-site SPA Grand Sirenis is the perfect place for clients to indulge in pampering. From pools and massages to body wraps and even a Maya-style Turkish bath known as a Temazcal, the spa is great for couples and friends alike.

At the more “adult-focused” Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills in Riviera Nayarit (children can be accommodated but the amenities and services available here are geared to adults), the Spa Makawé offers a Zen escape with a wide range of treatments, notably those based on ancestral Huichol arts.

Over at the Sirenis Punta Cana Casino & Aquagames, when the sun goes down (and kids head to bed), things really pick up for adult guests. There are beach parties, live music at the lobby bar and outdoor theatre, karaoke, an onsite disco and the Sirenis Casino where guests can play black jack, poker, Texas Hold’Em and slots until 3 am.

Dining is another aspect of a Grand Sirenis vacation that adult travellers should take note of. Of course there are the buffet restaurants with their huge array of options designed to satisfy any taste, no matter how picky the eater, but there are the many gourmet restaurants too, designed the elevate the entire vacation experience through the palate.

For couples desiring a romantic setting, the Riviera Maya properties feature candlelit dinners on the beach, while at the Matlali resort on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, they can enjoy a cozy setup by the pool. In Punta Cana, guests can linger over a three-course dinner in a gazebo on the beach, complete with a bottle of chilled Chardonnay.

Given all the opportunities for romance at these resorts, it’s no surprise Sirenis also offers great options for wedding groups.

“We are seeing more demand for weddings,” said Nunez, adding that the hotelier will be launching its 2019 wedding packages before the end of this year.  “We haven’t had actual packages in the past, so we are very excited about this development.”

So, while we already know that Sirenis resorts cater to families and are very kid-friendly, there are a lot of adult-friendly experiences available too, good news for clients looking for that perfect getaway with friends or something special with someone special.
