Spoiled For Choice At Beaches Turks & Caicos

And it's here to stay! Agents can book with 100% confidence

After a brief hiatus for cosmetic upgrades this fall, Beaches Turks & Caicos is back, better than ever, and here to stay.

"Beaches Turks & Caicos is such a special place and for those agents who’ve been there, they know exactly what I mean!" says Maureen Barnes-Smith, Director of Sales & Marketing, Unique Vacations Canada Inc.

"Agents can continue to book with 100% confidence."

"Yes, the resort was closed for a brief hiatus this fall but the resort is back and not going anywhere. Beaches Turks & Caicos is not closing its doors indefinitely in January 2021. Agents can continue to book with 100% confidence."

As the largest resort in the destination, the "Luxury Included" Beaches Turks and Caicos occupies a special place in the archipelago and delivers the brand's signature family-focused, autism-certified vacation experience where families are truly spoiled for choice.

Besides the all-inclusive watersport options, kids will get a thrill out of the on-site 45,000 square-foot aqua-playground, one of the Caribbean’s most comprehensive water parks that boasts nine slides, a lazy river, a surf simulator, water cannons, cranks and spray features.

The resort also offers programming for kids aged five to 17 at the Pirate Island complex, with activities including a games room for tweens and teens, a Play Lounge, pool tables, scavenger hunts, bonfires and more.  Of course, these complement the Camp Sesame range of activities and programs available for babies and toddlers. Families with children of all ages are covered!

A defining feature for the Beaches brand is its partnership with the beloved cast of Sesame Street. Various programs incorporating the iconic characters dream up treasured moments for families, banishing any Oscar the Grouch-like petulance. For instance, kids can be lulled to sleep with a personalized bedtime story read by Elmo as part of the "Night Night, Sleep Tight" package, or hoot and holler as they chow down with their Sesame Street friends at the "Character Breakfast."

With an unparalleled 24 dining options that even Cookie Monster would be proud of – everything from seafood to sushi, Japanese to French, food trucks to butler service -- guests could literally stay an entire week and not eat at the same restaurant twice.

Between its five villages, 15 bars and 10 pools, the 95-acre Beaches Turks and Caicos resort operates like a well-oiled machine, offering plenty of options for dining, activities, entertainment and relaxation. It never feels crowded or full, even when nearing capacity (a whopping 3,200 guests at max occupancy).

"Because of how the property is spread out, some people are at the conference centre, the kids are at the camp, 100 people are out on the catamaran… People are just in different areas. Some people like the quiet so they stay in the Key West Village. Some people like excitement, so they go to the Italian Village," says Tanya Swann, Director of Sales, Group and Conventions for Beaches Turks and Caicos.

"When we're full, even though we're 3,000 people plus, it never feels like you can't turn around or like you're bumping into people."

With 44 different room categories, travel advisors can find well-appointed accommodations for couples, families, friends, honeymooners and -- with options that comfortably lodge as many as 12 -- even large multigenerational families travelling together.

The resort’s spaciousness and varied room selection also makes Beaches Turks and Caicos an ideal option for all kinds of group events.

It boasts four conference and banquet facilities with state of the art audiovisual capabilities. Together, they can accommodate as many as 500 guests theatre-style and 270 banquet-style.

"Beaches Turks & Caicos is the ideal resort for all kinds of groups – social, wedding and corporate – for so many reasons: the wide variety of accommodation options for singles, couples and families, the unbelievable choice of restaurants, and the fantastic conference and special event space onsite. Groups can literally move between the boardroom and the beach with ease," says Francine Allen, Sandals Brand Manager with Air Canada Vacations.

Direct service to PLS with Air Canada Vacations can get clients on island time in no time – not to mention that Beaches Turks & Caicos is a short 10 kilometres from the airport.

ACV's direct flights from YYZ jump from four flights weekly to daily service between 16DEC-30APR and departures from YUL operate twice weekly between 21OCT-30APR.

The magic numbers for booking groups at Beaches resorts with ACV are FIVE and THREE: a group consists of just five rooms, based on a minimum of three nights.

Plus, ACV offers special group booking incentives and promotions such as guests fly and stay free in every sixth room (from SEP to DEC) or every 12th room (from JAN to AUG).

"Our ACV Groups department is expertly trained on Sandals and Beaches Resorts and are well-equipped to handle group quote requests and fulfillment. We also offer no deposits for wedding groups for 90 days which is quite convenient," adds Allen.
